Acupuncture during Menopause in Kingsbridge, Chillington & Modbury, near Plymouth
In Chinese Medicine, menopause is seen as a healing opportunity, rather than a pathology. A chance to reduce or heal symptoms and facilitate the transition into a healthy next chapter.
Can acupuncture help with menopause symptoms?
Every woman's experience of menopause will be different, with varying symptoms and severity. This is the beauty of holistic medicine like acupuncture: with no one-size-fits-all approach, each treatment is based on the individual and tailored to their needs.
The aim of treatment is always to help a woman navigate this life phase with more ease and comfort, which means working alongside Western Medicine and other healing modalities.
By regulating hormonal balance, promoting relaxation and improving the body's overall energy flow, acupuncture can help with the following symptoms often experienced during menopause and perimenopause:
Hot flushes
Anxiety and depression
Insomnia
Urogenital symptoms
Uterine bleeding
How much does Acupuncture treatment cost?
